7 Morning routines for a refreshing and productive day ahead
Neatly served tempting breakfast on the table with a cup of hot coffee or tea and the smoke coming
out of it, that is what we picture in our mind when thinking of an ideal
morning. Who doesn’t want a peaceful morning where they can enjoy their
breakfast and tea? Whereas most of us end up having as good as a marathon,
which is reasonable in its place as the time demands for it.
Let us see some habits that I have experienced beneficial and might help in
upgrading your mourning to its better version.
1) Plan your morning the previous night-
This is
the idea which always saves me from stress. Make a task list to be performed in
the morning a day before. This will not only save your time in the morning
wasting it to figure out tasks to be carried out but also will help in getting
a sound sleep where you are no longer worried about forgetting things. I
usually make my morning to-do list the previous day before going to bed.
2) Start the first few moments in peace:-
First
few moments in the morning are the most crucial ones. On the node, you start
your day will decide how the whole day will spend. Never start your day in a
hurry-scurry right after you wake up.
Right after you wake up take a few deep breaths in the bed itself,
remember a few things you are grateful for in life and thank God for them. Now
you are all set to start the day as foundation of peace has been already laid.
3) Adopt a minimum 5-10 mins body stretching routine:-
After the whole night's sleep, our muscles and joints are stiff and not flexible when we wake up in the morning. If you can not spare much time in exercise, incorporate 5-10 minutes of body stretching. These body stretching movements will relax those stiffened
muscles
and bring flexibility back.
4) Catching up with your To-do list:-
Each morning checking up on your to-do list and prioritizing them has helped me manage my entire day efficiently. An outline in the form of a to-do list gives me clarity about how the whole will look lime and assures the productivity of the day.
5) Morning shower freshness:-
A great way to overcome morning laziness and feel energized is taking your shower in the morning. It gives an instant boost to your body and you feel refreshed.
6) Listen to some energizing song:-
We all have to do some mundane activities which require the minimum effort of your brain and we are most likely reluctant to do them. If we listen to some upbeat music it makes those tasks less boring and monotonous. I like some upbeat kinds of music that keep going parallels with my mundane tasks.
7) Start your morning early-
Last but not the least habit I would recommend is to start your day early. I am not an expert but many experts swear by their benefits of waking up early. I have experienced that when I wake up earlier there is an abundance of time which we all feel a lack of in general in the morning.
